• Drafting petitions, affidavits, motions, legal correspondence and other documents for attorneys.

• Organizing and maintaining documents in a paper or electronic filing system.

• Meeting with attorneys, experts, and other professionals to talk about case details.

​

• Filing pleadings and other case documents with court clerk.

​

• Helping prepare for trial by organizing exhibits and assisting with other tasks as needed.

​

• Reviewing medical records and investigating facts and laws of related to vaccine injury cases.

​

• Preparing medical chronologies.

​

• Directing and coordinating law office activity, including requesting and obtaining client medical records.

• Experience with legal research, medical research, and medical records. 

​

• Experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, or vaccine injury litigation.

​

• Proficient with certain applications such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, Word, Outlook, and legal practice management software.

​

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

​

• Excellent organizational skills.

​

• Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

​

• Must be able to function effectively in a busy, team oriented environment.

​

• Office administration experience.

​

• Paralegal certification or an associate degree in paralegal studies is helpful, but not necessary.
